Impeach Bush, Save America

Prior to starting the recent war in Iraq Mr. Bush was asked by many different folks including this writer, “What are your plans for when we win?” These questions were ignored by the administration and apparently so were the plans. We are now seeing what this lack of planning is getting us; Iraq is in anarchy, the Iraqi people distrust us and the entire Arab world has one more reason to hate us. His war did not make us any safer; in fact it has reduced our security. His complete lack of planning about the aftermath of his war is getting Americans killed daily.
It is now becoming clear that the reason the President could not produce hard evidence of WMD before the war was because these weapons did not exist. The President lied to the American public by exaggerating the flimsy evidence against Iraq.
The real reason for the Iraq war was politically driven, Mr. Bush knew that if he had a war going during the mid-term election folks would not be as concerned about his ineffective economic policies, and it worked. The 50 Americans that are now dead as a result of his criminal policies volunteered to defend their country, they did not volunteer to die for Mr. Bush’s reelection campaign.
Mr. Bush’s response to 9/11 has been to promote fear in our nation, fear of the unknown and purposely undefined. He will continue to foster this fear as long as we let him.
We must impeach Bush before he turns our country into a police state in the name of fighting terrorism. We must impeach Bush before he removes more of our Constitutional rights in the name of national security. We must impeach Bush before he gets us into another war and needlessly sends even more Americans to their deaths.
