Robo-Calls must be outlawed
Some political groups have abused the privilege politicians have granted themselves to make recorded campaign calls. The loop hole in the law that allows politicians to make recorded calls to folks even if they are on the “no call list” must stop.
The Neo-Cons are hideously using these calls to alienate voters by setting up phone banks that repeatedly make fake calls from their opponents to the same people over and over, sometimes more than a dozen times in one night, and sometimes after 9pm. This must be stopped. Since it is obvious that we can not count on bad politicians to contain themselves, the only way to stop this exploitation is to have good politicians make a law that forces restraint, a very steep hill to climb.
It is clear that the only reason this loop hole exists is because some politicians think they should be above the law. Please work against stereotype and make this kind of voter abuse illegal. No one wants to hear that nonsense and you can stop it.
